Bailes of California, Pennsylvania, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter M. Bailes and Annie M. Bailes (Jonas); his wife Christine M. Bailes (Boehm); his sons, Donnie R. Bailes (Jeannette) of Middletown, PA and Colonel Robert L. (Retired); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Williams (Charles) of Dallastown, PA, Stephanie Bailes of Carlisle, PA, Lieutenant Jackson Bailes of Columbia, SC., Sara of Columbia, SC., Zachary of Columbia, SC. and Jacob Bailes of Columbia, SC.. He was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a viewing will be held from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. A Private funeral service will be held Monday, with Pastor Neal McCulloch of Dickinson Presbyterian Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name may be offered to Dickinson Presbyterian Church, 12 Church Road Carlisle, PA 17015.
