She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Bodnar and Ethel Bodnar; her husband Frank Sakach, Jr.; and her siblings, Ethel, William and Stephen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Christine Leichliter (Ronald), Dr. Valerie Sakach Thomas (Harold) and Nancy Sakach; her grandchildren, Kathy, Rana, Jeff, Harold (HT), Vanessa and Veronica; her great grandchildren, Billy, Isabella Grace, Zachary, Layla, Osmond, Danya, Veda Grace and Adele; and her godchildren, Scott Bodnar of Sarver, PA and Colleen Isler of Brownsville, PA. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, friends, nieces, and nephews.
