She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Sampler and Mary Sampler (Kasuba); her husband James D. Mitchell; her son Sam Mitchell; and her siblings, Rudy Sampler and Rita Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Mitchell (Debra) of Charleroi and James Mitchell (Amelia) of California; and her sisters, Marie Anjard of San Diego, CA and Dolores Romi (Kenneth) of Donora, PA.. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
She was active with the American Heart Association.
