She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Stein; her parents, Oskar Goodman and Franziska Goodman (Schutzmann); and her brother Robert Goodman. She is survived by: her daughters, Audrey (Chiboola Malaambo) and Barbara Stein Salthouse (Robert); and her grandson Ben Salthouse.
