He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Harris and Olive Harris (Grimes); his wife Shirley Hartley Harris; and his children, Robert Harris and Linda Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Edgar A. Harris, Jr. (Debbie) of Carmichaels, PA, Laurie Stewart of Washington, PA and Ellen Parrish (John) of Sebring, FL. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren.
