It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Marlene (Shaner) Smail of California, Pennsylvania, born in Leechburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Shaner and Dorothy Shaner (Summerville); her husband Clifford Dale Smail; and her brother Dale Shaner. She is survived by: her children, Delinda Bish (Robert) of Leechburg and Laurie Adams Hoffer (David) of West Leechburg; her grandchildren, Wendy Andersen (Matt) of Warren, PA, Amy Eyerman (Chuck) of Pittsburgh, Erin Saxion (Sam) of Apollo, Stacie Nowikowski (Joe) of West Leechburg and Nathan Louise Hoffer of Lower Burrell; her great grandchildren, Brooke Andersen, Colin, Julianna Saxion, Tyler, Hannah Eyerman, Evan and Cade Nowikowski; and her sisters, Norma Kummick of Leechburg and Violet Stivason of Leechburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Leechburg, PA.
