He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Benton and Iva Benton (Imgrund). He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Benton (Crigger); his daughter Emily Jackson (Nick); his stepdaughters, Melanie Schill, Constance Crigger and Shannon Gardner; his stepgrandchildren, Teyona, Amir, Andrew, Hunter and Arabella; his pet Hank; and his siblings, Joseph Benton (Veronica), Thomas Benton (Judy) and Susan Speilman (Douglas). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines and in compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending the gathering will be required to wear masks and social distance.
