He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Sue; his former wife Terri Messier; his daughter-in-law Kathy; and his grandson Benjamin. He is survived by: his children, Catherine James (Dennis), Michael, John (Betsy), Robert and Douglas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
