We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Barry Rudy of California, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rudy, Jr. and Joyce Rudy (Hummelbaugh); and his sister Barb Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Denise L. Rudy (Ciccocioppo); his children, Christina M. Rudy (Gary Johnston, II) of Shippensburg and John N. Rudy (Amber) of Duncannon; his siblings, Russel Rudy of Duncannon, Sue Wood of Dillsburg, Donna Rudy of Enola, Brenda Rudy of Steelton, Lois Jacobs of Enola and Yvonne McSherry of Landisburg; and his grandsons, Tyler Rudy and Ryland Rudy.

In keeping with current health guidelines, attendees are encouraged to exercise proper precautions including the wearing of face coverings and appropriate social distancing.

Memorial contributions in Barry's honor may be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

“Rudy Family, I knew Barry for many years working with him at York County Station 69. He was a good friend and loving family man. He cared about and for people all his life. I was his workmate, comrade in arms and later his supervisor. In all those years we remained brothers in service and good, good friends. I will miss him and his wonderful sense of humor, but most of all, his compassion for the Fire Service to which he gave his complete dedication and life. Rest. From Bob Corkle”
