He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Champion, Sr. and Flossie Davenport Champion; and his brother Clare Champion. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher T. Champion (Cindy) of Frederick, MD and David R. Champion (Janice) of Slippery Rock, PA; his sister Laura L. Lee of Clyde, OH; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Michael Champion, Kevin Wissinger (Lisa) and Laura Lansberry (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Ava, Ella, Owen, Dylan, Austin, Olivia and Lucy.
