He was predeceased by: his parents, Donato Bottegal and Teresa Maccagnen Bottegal; and his sisters, Gemma Dorton, Elsa Tandaric and Esther Holupka.

He is survived by: his sister Madeline Runco of Sommerville, NJ.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
