He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Schiebel and Lillian Thoma Schiebel; and his siblings, Leo Schiebel and Evelyn Beggs. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, James Beggs of Sarver, Donald Beggs of Butler, Jacqueline Beadle of Pittsburgh, Terry Schiebel of Millvale, David Schiebel of Butler and Lexie Stamper of Cranberry Twp.

Memorial donations may be made to the South Butler County School District Scholarship Foundation.
