He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Laura Winters Smolen; his sons, Dominic Smolen and Warren Smolen; and his siblings, Andrea Lang (Jeff) of Cabot, Jesse Smolen (Carissa) of Butler and Jeffrey Smolen of Cabot.
