He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schmeider, Sr. and Dorothy Edwards Schmeider; and his sister Ruthann Kammerer. He is survived by: his wife Susan L Schmeider; his children, Tamy Purcell (Richard) of Cabot and John L. Schmeider, Jr. of Cabot; the mother of his children Marianne Schmeider; his stepdaughters, Sarah Barlett (Jay) of Ford City, Emily Keeler of Ford City and Rebecca Reefer of Rural Valley; his siblings, Paul Schmeider, Jr. (Alice) of Cabot, Judy Shelton (Dennis) of Cabot, Doris McKinney of Cabot and Ray Schmeider (Pat) of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Kaila, Killian, Keira, Leah, Aubrey and Isaac.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. (410 W Main St, Saxonburg, PA 16056). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cabot Church (707 Winfield Rd, Cabot, PA 16023).
