We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2025, at the age of 84, John P. McKallip of Cabot, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. McKallip and Mary McKallip (Mayer); and his sister Mary Louise Pollock. He is survived by: his wife Meda B. McKallip (Roush) of Cabot; his sister Margaret E. McKallip of Gilpin Township; and his stepchildren, Kathy Anthony (Trooper) of Allegheny Township and Steve Pochiba (Robin) of Leechburg.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, Inc. (170 Main St, Leechburg, PA 15656). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
