He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cooper and Pearl Shimmel Cooper; his wife Joan Irene Cooper; and his siblings, James, Charles Cooper, Carrie Sweeny and Mae Kettering.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Steele (Kevin) of Cabot, Bruce Cooper (Pat) of Cabot, Keith Cooper of Easley, SC, Patricia Baker (John) of Butler and Vickie Cooper of Cabot; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jerin, Crystal, Trever and Rachelle; and his great grandchildren, Charity and Blake.
