He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Ostrich and William T. Trew; his sisters, Juanita Burke Petro and Genevieve Jarzynka; his nieces and nephews, Mark, Eric, Kenny, Ronnie, Buzzy, Kay and Frances; and his stepgrandson Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife Grace E. Trew; his children, George W. Trew II (Pia) and Cynthia L. T. Lambing (Robert); his grandson Benjamin M. Trew (Suzanne); his stepgrandchildren, Jacqueline, Edward, Matthew, Kerry, Dean, Dawn and Paul; and his great grandchildren, Owen and Charlotte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
