He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brestensky and Anastasia Vozar Brestensky; and his siblings, John, Joseph Brestensky and Rita Szul.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Michael C. Brestensky, David R. Brestensky, Deanna R. and Brent Heinrich; his grandchildren, Auri and Samuel Heinrich; and his brother Charles Brestensky.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dan's memory to the Cabot United Methodist Church 707 Winfield Rd., Cabot, PA 16023.
