He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Wagner and Clara Kessler Wagner; his wife Jeanette Edwards Wagner; his sons, Daniel Edward Wagner and Thomas William Wagner; his siblings, Laura Reibert (John), Gertrude Newcamp (Edward), Regina Stivers (Richard), Helen Dietrich (Albert), Mildred Dietrich (Clarence), Walter Wagner (Santina) and Gerald Wagner (Katherine); and his son-in-law Robert Sokolowski.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Walzer (Kenneth), Judith Sokolowski of Georgia and Robert Wagner (Jodi); his daughter-in-law Alice Scott Wagner; his sister Martha Strohm; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Walzer, Karen Hendershott (Jason), Kevin Walzer (Jennifer), Donald Sokolowski, Brian Sokolowski, Kimberly Sokolowski, Scott Wagner, Alexander Wagner (Nicole), Bobbi Lynn Beck (Joseph) and Benjamin Wagner. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and numerous and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Autism Speaks.
