He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Freeman and Nellie Fuhs Freeman; his grandchildren, Charles E. Dumbaugh (Jennifer) and Graham M. Jones (Casey); and his wife Mary Lee Pollock Freeman.

He is survived by: his children, John B. Freeman (Becky) of Sugar Land, Texas, Ann Dumbaugh (Richard) of Butler and Kathryn Freeman-Jones (Jeffery) of Midlothian; and his great grandchildren, Marek G. Dumbaugh and Hadley Grace Jones.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Concordia Lutheran Ministry Foundation, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023-2245, or to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023-2245.
