She was predeceased by: her parents, J. G. Wheeler and Jean J. Wheeler (Johnson). She is survived by: her husband Daniel D. Steighner; her children, Tammy Sue Wardlaw, Lisa Harris, April Wills and Clayton Yoakum; and her siblings, Boyd Wheeler, Jay Wheeler and Sue. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
