He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Patrick and Mary Kane (Wagner); and his former wife Arlene Kane (Showers). He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Marshall Kane (Landgraf); his children, Kathleen Essig (Paul) of Ligonier, Kenneth Kane (Mary) of Butler and Kevin Kane of Alexandria, VA; and his stepchildren, Heather Barger (Richard) of Beaver Falls and Brad Marshall (Angie) of Chicora. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William's name to Birthright International or the Dementia Society of America.
