He is survived by: his close friends, Fred Callahan and Dick Shaffer; his brother-in-law John McNallen; his wife Patricia McNallen Ashbaugh; his children, Bill Ashbaugh of Ann Arbor, Mich, Tim Ashbaugh (Bridget), Barb Nuttle of Plum, John Ashbaugh (Christine) and Mary Beth Gareis (William) of Mars; his grandchildren, James, Yulia Ashbaugh, Alexander, Michael, Jonathan, Benjamin Nuttle (Chelsea), Matthew Ashbaugh, Zachary and Jacob Gareis; and his sisters, Ruth Ann Dodd of New Jersey and Martha Hayes (Hamp) of Michigan.
