The passing of Walter Michael Mazar of Butler, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mazar and Mary Mazar (Stephura); his brother John A. Mazar; and his nephew Jonathan Mazar. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ruth Mazar (Schrecongost); his siblings-in-law, Nancy Mazar, Marlene Twentier (Chuck), Barbara Schrecongost and Verne Schrecongost (Debbie); and his friend Brandy Keight. He is also survived by his soul mate and the love of his life for 24 years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home, Ltd. (127 W Jefferson St, Butler, PA 16003). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
