Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sylvester Kapalka of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 92, on January 20, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kapalka and Martha Ostrowski Kapalka Cymbol. He is survived by: his wife Lois Kapalka (Lawson); his children, Valerie Kapalka of Butler and Paul Kapalka (Diana "Dizy") of Cabot; his sisters, Martha Rhodes of Arnold, PA, Theresa Clark (Gary) of Louisa, VA and Sylvia Tatrn of Lower Burrell; his granddaughter Alyza Kapalka of Saxonburg; and his pet Mack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. (410 W Main St, Saxonburg, PA 16056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Thorn Creek Methodist Church 142 Rockdale Road Butler, PA 16002.
