He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Joseph Lutz and Mary Rogers Lutz; his wife Charlotte Neely Lutz; and his siblings, Ted Lutz, Dick Lutz, Roger Lutz, Mary Lutz Stehle and Nancy Lutz Hilliard.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Scott Lutz of Butler, Jacquelyn (Gerald Mineweaser) of McMurray, Timothy Lutz (Kelly) of Millersville, Daniel Lutz (Paula) of Franklin Park, Jeffery Lutz (Michelle) of Butler and Roger Lutz (Amy) of Butler; his brother Joseph Lutz of Butler; his pet Oscar; and his niece Becky Haefner. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church (1660 N Main St Ext, Butler, PA 16001). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Robert Lutz to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, 146 N. Monroe St., Butler, PA 16001, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
