He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden H. Bogan and Beatrice Swintowski Bogan Rakarich; his wife Elizabeth L. Amszi Rakarich; his son Blaine A. Rakarich; and his stepfather Joseph D. Rakarich.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Jackman (Jonathan McMurdy) of Slippery Rock, Brian A. Rakarich (Christie) of Butler and Brad A. Rakarich (Bonnie) of Butler; his daughter-in-law Barbara Dunlop Rakarich of West Sunbury; and his siblings, Harry Bogan of Toledo, Ohio, Donna Bogan of Toledo and Beverly Jakub of Gibsonia. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
