It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Federkeil Sr. of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy A. Federkeil and Aimee L. Fleck Federkeil; and his wife Jean Dyer Federkeil. He is survived by: his children, Lynne Ellis of Cranberry Twp, Cheri Newcomb of Butler and Richard Federkeil, Jr. (Sheri) of Butler; his grandchildren, Jamie Green (Josh), Brian Ellis (Katie), Chris Newcomb (Melissa), Jill McCurdy (Patrick), Alyssa Newcomb (Nick Minnis), Megan Hineman and Thomas Hineman (Gail); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Makayla, Sienna, Riley, Madeline, Aubrey, Caden, Marin, Maggie, Stella, Carter, Colin and Victoria; and his brother John Federkeil (Janet) of West Mifflin. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
