He was predeceased by: his father Richard B. Bold. He is survived by: his mother Peggy E. Hay (Gale); his stepfather Phil Hay; his sons, Joshua Carlisle and Jordan Bold (Katie); his brother Drew Hay (Gretchen); his nephew Niven Hay; his niece Maddy Hay; and his former wife Virginia Bold (Ginny).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
