It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Elliot Wharton of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Wharton and Hilda Wharton; and his sister Helen Rossi of Tipton. He is survived by: his wife Ruth McGrath of Butler; his son Kevin Wharton of Butler; his stepchildren, Greg McGrath of Reading, Paul McGrath of Georgia, Scott McGrath (Kim) of Texas, Kathleen Rutkoski (John) of Butler, Sandi Rishor of Oregon and Denise Stevenson of Alabama; and his brother Joe Wharton of Altoona. He is also survived by His family circle also includes 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
