She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Steighner and Marcella Steighner (Steighner); her son Michael Mudrick (Sue Fuhr Mudrick) of Highfield; her husband Robert F. Tortorea; her brothers, Richard and Ronald Steighner; and also Lynn Chervenak.

She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Mudrick Simpson of Lyndora; her sister Norma Lavorini (Robert) of Butler; her grandchildren, Erica Hoyle (Jeff) and David Burtner (Holly); and also, Robert Tortorea (Cindy) of Butler, Laverne Trenz (John) of Pittsburgh, Carol, Joyce, Bernie, Ron and Shirley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
