She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Tucci and Antonia Tucci; and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her children, Bill Wladika (Maria), Karen Smaldino (Tony Smaldino, Jr.), Sue Leone (Dan) and Patti Wladika; her sister Ann Bogusky; her grandchildren, Alyssa Smaldino, Jenna Smaldino Hyland (Matt), Anthony Smaldino (Erin), Dominique Smaldino, Nicolas Leone and Erica Leone; and her great grandchildren, Nora Hyland and Leo Hyland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (429 Center Ave, Butler, PA 16001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In her final six months of life, Leona received tremendous care from the team at The Addison House at Lowrie Place, and, in lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations to support activity programs for the residents there.
