She was predeceased by: her parents, Konstant Szymkiewicz and Rosalia "Rose" Kolasinski Szymkiewicz; her sister Church; her husband Clarence "Shag" Howard; her son David C. Howard; her son-in-law Henry D. Sinopoli; and her siblings, Regina Ziemkiewicz, Melanie Maleski Bickel, Eugene "Sonny" Szymkiewicz, Robert "Bobby" Szymkiewicz and Bobby.

She is survived by: her sister Sylvia Begolly. She is also survived by 27 beautiful great-grandchildren.
