He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Stoops and Mary Stoops (Brown); and his siblings, Earle J. Stoops and Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stoops (Osborne); his children, Jennifer Kirwald (Shawn) of Butler and John Stoops (Beth) of Butler; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Eric Kirwald, Tyler, Anthony and Bryson Stoops; his great grandchild Emerson Saul; his brothers, Jim Stoops of Slippery Rock and Brian Stoops (Carol) of Germany; and his cousin Charles Closson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
