He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fillo and Violet Fillo; and his grandmother Mary Roensch. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Fillo; his children, Matthew Fillo, Alexander Fillo and Jennifer Fillo (Brent Fiore); his stepson Nicholas Carini (Jessica); his granddaughters, Ruby Fillo and Sydney Fiore; his sister Judy Johnston; his nephew Frank Mauro Jr.; and his friends, Jack and Fran Mesagno.
