It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Raymond Thrash of Butler, Pennsylvania, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus E. Thrash and Irene D. Thrash (Gregg); his siblings, Cletus, Jr., James, Harry, Richard, Raymond, Gene and Marie Kotansky; and his son-in-law Franklin Myers.

He is survived by: his wife Selma Zehner; his children, Donna Spangenburg (Mark) of Etters, Linda Myers of Rock Glen and Roger Thrash (Mallory) of Swiftwater; and his sisters, Marion Ayre of Mountaintop and Judy Krouse of Drums. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial Donations to the Black Creek United Methodist Church, 158 Golf Course Road, Sugarloaf, PA 18249, are welcomed by the family.
