She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Higgins and Bridget Smith Higgins; her husband Elmer A. Covert; and her brothers, George Higgins and Thomas Higgins.
She is survived by: her children, Scott E. Covert (Michele) of Littlestown, Christopher A. Covert of Renfrew and Shannan M. Dorcy (Curt) of Butler; her siblings, Kenneth Higgins (Sylvia) of Butler and Mary Seman (Stewart) of Hinsdale, Ill.; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Robert, Jacob, Cyle, Colin, Cameron and Chloe. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
