He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Johnson and Ina Johnson (Chiles); his former wife Virginia Bowers Johnson; his son Robert Johnson; his brother Reid Johnson; and his sons-in-law, Allen Craycraft and David Kaiser.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Romain-Johnson (Kutcher); and his daughters, Ada Craycraft of Kettering, Jennifer Hurst (Paul) of Muskegon, Mich, Lucretia Kaiser of Sharpsville, Kimberly (Nathan) of Gibsonia and Annette Romain of West Mifflin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
