He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray B. Cumberland and Pauline E. Stevenson Cumberland; his son John Lewis Cumberland; and his siblings, Marshall B. Cumberland and Janet A. LePley.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Cumberland (Jones); his daughter Laura M. Minda; his stepsons, Calvin T. Pittman and Edward C. Pittman; and his siblings, Terry, Mark Cumberland, Diana Hortert, Sharron Pergyn, Raylene Bachman and Robin Cumberland. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
