She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Picking and Sarah Picking (Good); her husband John Henry Betts; and her brothers, Melvin and Ralph Picking.
She is survived by: her children, John Betts (Grace), Ken Betts (Mary) and Sharon Betts; her grandchildren, Sonya Elliot (Brock), John Betts, Jenn Betts, Jackie Betts and Julia Betts; her stepgrandchildren, Becki Skibinski (Michael), Steve Green (Michelle) and Nicky Green; her great grandchildren, Cameron Elliot, Delaney Betts and Olivia Hageman; her brother Harold Picking of Florida; and her sister-in-law Frances Betts of Waynesboro, PA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
