She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Widenhofer and Eleanora Cramer Widenhofer; her son Edward Joseph Welter; her grandsons, Christopher Ryan Lewis and Brian Mark Lewis; and her siblings, Gerald, Mary Catherine, LeRoy, Joseph and Wilbert.
She is survived by: her significant other William P. "Bill" Welter Jr.; her children, William Welter, III (Marlene), Dr. Elan Welter Lewis (Eleanora), Margaret Lamison (James), Timothy Welter (Lori), Shirley Simpson (William) and Terry Welter (Michele); her daughter-in-law Tamara Welter; and her brother Eugene Widenhofer (Shirley). She is also survived by her 27 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.
