It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Shields of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Shields and Elsie Shields (Vanstone); and his sister Sandra Miles. He is survived by: his children, Mary Elizabeth Shields of Columbus, OH, Vicki Cannon (Gus) of Shawnee, KS and Carl E. Shields II (Suzanne) of Butler; his grandchildren, Graham Kaseman Cannon, Alexandrew, Christopher, Nicholas, Zachary and Jacqueline Shields; and his sister Mary Ellen Shields of Las Vegas, NV..
Due to family concerns, the family requests that attendees wear a mask.
He also served as President of both the Midwestern Economic Foundation and the Industrial Management Club.
