She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Bowser and Martha Hepler Bowser; her husband Raymond H. Johnston; and her siblings, Lois Young, Robert Bowser, Shirley Nulph and Darlene Beahm.

She is survived by: her children, Raymond Johnston (Cyd) of Butler and Shelly Tolo (Thor) of Seattle, WA; her grandchildren, Amy Talamantes (Jose), Brad Johnston (Cynthia) and Chelsea Vaughn (Tommy); her sister Phyllis Bonzo; and her caregivers, Marilou and Terri. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren.
