She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Wallak and Anna Wallak (Tarcha); and her husband Richard J. Schontz. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Pastorius (Donald) of East Butler and Richard Schontz, Jr. (Connie) of Butler; her grandchildren, Kim Veltri (Pete), Rick A. Schontz (Lindsey), Donny Pastorius (Cathy), Marcus Pastorius (Kyler) and Michael Schontz (Gretchen); her great grandchildren, Amelia, Graham, Savina, Preston, Drew and Bode; and her siblings, Linda Bowser of Butler, Julie Green (Lenny) of Butler, Joanne Sheptek and John Wallak.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church (610 Hansen Ave, Lyndora, PA 16045).
