He was predeceased by: his parent Charles L. Barton; his son John Barton; and his brother Charles Barton. He is survived by: his parent Erma Smay Barton; his wife Ruth A. Barton (Simpson); his sons, Kent Barton (Lori) of Ellwood City and Joel Barton of Butler; his siblings, Joan Keiser of Michigan, Glenn Barton of Washington and Carl Barton of Worthington; and his grandsons, Brendon, Zachary, Brody, Brooke and Jenna.
