He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Jack" Scott and Nancy Scott (Campbell); his wife Elaine Scott (Meredith); his stepson Donald Steinheiser; and his siblings, Maxine Myers, Wesley "Reed", Wendell "Red" and Robert Scott.
He is survived by: his son David M. Scott of Pittsburgh; his stepchildren, Lawrence Steinheiser (Donna) of Butler, Terry Steinheiser (Kathleen) of Renfrew and Sharon Steinheiser of Wilmington, NC; and his close friend Betty Burke of Butler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
