He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Clarence and Hazel Gill Teaford; his grandparents, Thomas William, Lillie McGraw Teaford, James Clifford and Margaret Myers Gill; his wife Lois Catharine Cunning Teaford; and his sister Alice Marie Teaford Burgess.

He is survived by: his children, Daylelynn Davis (Richard), Dawnlyn Valli (William), Donald Teaford and Derrick Teaford (Diann DeAngelis); his grandchildren, Donald Thomas Teaford, Jack Dale Davis II (Jessica), Georgia, Tyler Adam Davis (Megan), Jill Kathryn Davis, John Ferguson Haney (Judd) and Raena Elizabeth Valli; and his great grandchildren, Eli Teaford, Richard Scott Davis II, Augustus Jackson Davis, Charli Kate, Milly "Moo", Addi Ruth and Pheobe Rose Davis. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

“I hadn't seen Dale for many years. I remember him when we used to visit Aunt Hazel in Beaver Falls and he and Lois stopped in to see her and Uncle Dale. He was always nice to me and seemed to be full of life with vim and vigor. I remember that he had a perpetual smile on his face and seemed always happy. I wish that I had seen him more over the years but that never seemed to happen. I remember visiting him and Lois when they lived in Paterson Heights, Beaver County. God bless the family. CJS”
