It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Lavada Pink in Butler, Pennsylvania, born in Portersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilbur and Melda Bortz Wright; her former husbands, Robert Mahood of Butler and John Siekaniec of Butler; and her sister Pauline Berry.
She is survived by: her husband James Patrick Pink; and her children, Karen Mahood of Chandler, AZ, Deborah Avnet (Mahood) of Thousand Oaks, CA, Jamie Johnson (Pink) of Fairmont, WV and Stephen Pink of Crescent, PA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter.
Her body was donated to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for research through Human Gift Registry as in true nurse fashion, she was "always giving!".
