He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair J. Steighner and Helen Steighner (Beilstein). He is survived by: his wife Donna Steighner (Sanderson) of Butler; his children, John Joseph Steighner of Butler, Jared Scott Steighner (Carolyn Kobulnicky) of Butler and Michelle Renee Saeler (Joseph) of Chicora; his grandchildren, Jack Wyatt, Nicholas John Steighner and Jordan Joseph Saeler; and his brothers, Thomas Steighner of Chicora and Robert Steighner of Butler. He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 W Jefferson St, Butler, PA 16001).
