He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Herbert, Mary Ritzert, William and Marcella Young; and his nephew Kolton Young.

He is survived by: his parents, Regis Young (Alice) and Joan Ritzert Spaulding (Charles); his wife Jody Bertoncello Young; his children, Zane (Alyssa), Hope, Jamie and Josh; his grandchildren, Reese, Westen, Lexus and Giavanna; and his brothers, Kevin (Bobbie) and Nathan (Briana). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
